Redefining the human potential

Changing Lives, Inspiring Hope

The UT Southwestern community has witnessed a tremendous spirit of giving in North Texas since launching the Campaign for the Brain in 2015. Robert B. “Bob” Rowling, a visionary leader and loyal friend of UT Southwestern Medical Center and Southwestern Medical Foundation, is among those who inspire greatness in community service and has proved time and again that when people work together, anything is possible.

Michael Lang, who has stuttered for more than 65 years, has recognized the tremendous gap in resources, research, and services available for the stuttering community worldwide. Life Goes On. The LIVESTRONG® Survivorship Center

"I don't think a child is ever truly cured of cancer," says Virginia Harrod, M.D., medical director of the LIVESTRONG® Survivorship Center. "Even if you are cured of cancer itself, the residual lingering deficits are always there. We take patients who've won--they've gotten past cancer--and provide a resource for them to be fully informed and receive optimal care. They are not alone, and we are here to help."
